11 My grandma is amazing! In 1942, she was strong enough to raise six kids on her own after leaving an alcoholic husband. She worked seven days a week, starting at 3am and going until 5pm, as a cook in a gas station. I used to stay with her every weekend and sleep on the floor of the gas station.
