The end of a legend. Prayers needed for Celine Dion.

Magazines have been discussing Céline Dion’s health after she seemed to have lost a lot of weight. Fans are worried because she looks different now.

During a recent interview with The Sun, the singer from Canada stated that she prefers to be left alone when it comes to criticism about her appearance. She emphasized that if she likes something, she doesn’t want to discuss it, and if others don’t like it, they should just leave her be.

Dion’s representative recently revealed that she is experiencing muscle spasms, which is impacting her stage performance. Due to this and the ongoing pandemic, Dion had to cancel multiple concert dates in Las Vegas. The affected dates were in November of last year and from January 19 to February 5, 2022.

The statement mentioned that Celine is facing intense and continuous muscle spasms that are hindering her ability to perform.

Her medical team is still assessing and providing treatment for her. Nevertheless, the symptoms she is encountering are preventing her from joining the ongoing rehearsals for the new show.

Version 1: The singer went on Instagram to express her sadness about the postponed concert dates and the health problems she’s been facing.

Dion apologized for the delay in contacting everyone and expressed how much he missed them. He eagerly anticipated the opportunity to speak to them in person on stage.

I’ve always been honest, but I wasn’t ready to share before. Now, I’m ready. I’ve been struggling with my health for a while, facing challenges and talking about my experiences has been tough.

Lately, I was diagnosed with a rare neurological disorder known as stiff-person syndrome, affecting about one in a million individuals. We are still discovering more about this condition, but we have identified that it is the cause of the spasms I have been experiencing. Regrettably, these spasms impact all areas of my daily life, making it challenging to walk and preventing me from singing as I normally would.

“I’m working hard with my sports medicine therapist every day to build back my strength and my ability to perform again, but I have to admit it’s been a struggle,” she said. “All I know is singing. It’s what I’ve done all my life and it’s what I love to do the most.

I really miss you. I miss being on stage and performing for all of you. I always put my all into my shows, but my current condition is preventing me from doing that for you right now.

Dion ended the video by expressing his gratitude for the kind messages and support he received on social media.

Take good care of yourselves. Stay healthy. I have so much love for all of you and I truly hope to see you again very soon.

Dion’s connection to Las Vegas runs deep, as she considers it her second home. She first started her successful Las Vegas residency in 2003, which lasted for four years and brought in over $385 million.

Dion made a comeback to the Las Vegas stage at Ceasar’s Palace years later and set a new world record with 1,141 performances, as reported by Billboard.

At the same time, she holds the records for the two best-selling residencies of all time.

Due to health problems, Dion postponed the start of her tour to May 2022, but it has been delayed again. She also pushed back her Las Vegas residency.

Celine Dion’s two previous Las Vegas residencies alone brought in a staggering $680 million. Her total wealth is estimated to be approximately $800 million, and in 2019, she earned $37 million.

The singer’s income took a hit due to not being on stage. It is estimated that she lost approximately $70 million in revenue, which was based on her earnings from the Celine residency show.

In addition to that, she is glad that her break gave her more time to spend with her kids.
