Tony Danza shared a reunion picture on social media, and he also tweeted another photo of the entire cast reuniting at the premiere of the Broadway show “Honeymoon in Vegas” in 2015. It’s great to see the cast of “Taxi” coming together again, especially with Danza leading the way.

It’s truly heartwarming to witness the reunion of these former castmates, serving as a beautiful reminder of the numerous legendary careers that were kickstarted by the iconic show, Taxi.

Christopher Lloyd, who is currently 84 years old, received two Emmys for his portrayal of the legendary character, The Reverend Jim “Iggy” Ignatowski.

Nowadays, he is most famous for his role as Doc Brown in the Back to the Future series, along with appearances in movies such as Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Clue, and The Addams Family.

Carol Kane, the talented actress who portrayed Simka Gravas and earned two Emmy Awards, recently graced our screens as a prominent member of the main cast in Netflix’s delightful series, The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Her remarkable filmography includes iconic movies such as Annie Hall, Scrooged, The Princess Bride, and Hester Street, which garnered her a well-deserved Academy Award nomination for Best Actress. It’s incredible to note that she is now celebrating her 70th birthday, a testament to her enduring talent and timeless charm.

Tony Danza, at the age of 72, portrayed the lovable yet simple-minded Tony Banta on Taxi. Following the conclusion of the iconic sitcom, he continued to charm audiences on the popular show Who’s the Boss?.

Judd Hirsch, known for his role as Alex Rieger on Taxi, is currently 88 years old and thriving. Recently, he received an Academy Award nomination for his outstanding performance in Steven Spielberg’s The Fabelmans. Some of his other notable films are Ordinary People, Independence Day, and A Beautiful Mind. Hirsch also clinched two Emmy Awards for his work on Taxi.

Danny DeVito, who portrayed dispatcher Louie De Palma, was not able to attend the reunion. Despite his absence, the 78-year-old actor has been a prominent figure in the film industry for many years and can currently be seen on the popular show It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

DeVito’s spouse, Rhea Perlman, made regular appearances on Taxi as well. Currently, the pair have gone their separate ways.

Marilu Henner, who portrayed Elaine on the popular TV show Taxi and has also appeared in numerous films and TV series, was unfortunately unable to attend the reunion.

Unfortunately, we have lost two important members of the Taxi cast: the groundbreaking comedian Andy Kaufman, known for his role as Latka Gravas on the sitcom, passed away in 1984.

Jeff Conaway, famous for his roles as Bobby Wheeler in the show’s initial four seasons and Kenickie in Grease, passed away in 2011 at the age of 60 due to pneumonia with sepsis. Throughout his life, Conaway battled with drug addiction, facing numerous challenges.

It’s been four decades since it concluded, but Taxi is still considered a TV favorite and continues to be widely watched in syndication. You can also catch all the seasons on Paramount Plus for your viewing pleasure.

It’s amazing to witness the reunion of so many stars from Taxi, one of the most remarkable sitcoms ever!
