Student builds 14m² house to avoid paying rent. When I see the interior I freeze.

During our student days, we all go through endless situations. We have disappointments, we face problems, we meet new people, and we live new experiences. But in most cases, what is most problematic for young people is finding their own space, not only because they have grown up and revealed themselves, but because all of us at a given time need to feel that something belongs to us.

But the reality is that finding a home that meets our needs is not easy, especially regarding costs. Even a small bedroom can be worth a fortune.

It is not easy for a student, especially when you must pay for transport and books and take care of housing services. Joel Weber had a great idea because of that and his difficulty in finding a home.

Joel studies in Texas, he had been looking for a home for a long time, but the costs were skyrocketing. However, he never gave up and thought of something incredible to solve his problem.

Instead of continuing to waste time looking for a home, you decided to build it with your own hands; Joel was sure to build a small wooden house.

In the school library, he got some construction books.

Then he started with the base that would be his new home.

He invested all his savings in the project even though he knew it was a big risk. It took almost a year and $15,000 for his own little house.

From the outside, it looks quite small, but when you enter, you are shocked to see that it has everything you need.

Look how it looks inside!

This little house has 14 square meters. Each space has been very well used. For example, Joel has used the stairs to store things and give the space a personalized touch.

When some people found out about Joel’s project, they offered to help him with some materials. For example, part of the wood is given away.

The bathroom has everything you need, even though it is small. It also looks very modern, don’t you think?

The bed was decided to be on the “second floor”, above the kitchen, and it seems quite cozy.

Your kitchen is also very well equipped, perfect for making exquisite dishes.

And best of all, this little house has wheels to transport it from one place to another.

Several people have contacted Joel to buy his little house, but he doesn’t want to sell it. However, he has thought about renting it through Airbnb, so don’t be surprised if you get to look at it on the web one day.

Want is power, and Joel managed to make his wish come true. The result is fabulous!

Do you like the house that Joel has built? Would you like to have one? Name the person who would love to have a house like this.
