Sand sculptures naturally carved by the wind were captured by this photographer.
Photos you’ve never seen before
Mother nature never ceases to amaze us with her wonderful creations. The only problem is that usually nature’s creations are temporary. But some photographers like Joshua Novicki manage to make them eternal through his camera lens.
Recently, he took pictures of some amazing sand sculptures made by the wind along the shores of Lake Michigan. He himself admitted that the lake is his favorite subject for photography and spends a lot of time walking along its shore. He also said that he had taken pictures of the sand sculptures in the past, so he knew that the conditions were right to find them.
He also added that: “sand creations don’t last long (usually only a few days), the wind completely erodes or knocks them down, if the temperature rises above freezing, they crumble and often in winter they are covered by snow.”
