Ranger bravely carried a 200-pound baby elephant on his shoulders through the forest to save its life.


The compassionate forest ranger quickly acted when encountering the helpless elephant in need. Taking it upon himself to save the animal, he was captured on camera performing the incredible act of kindness. Many people are willing to help needy animals, but this ranger stepped up and made a difference.

Palanichamy Sarathkumar is a 28-year-old man from India, specifically from Tamil Nadu. His compassion and selflessness are what set him apart from the rest. While leaving work one day, he noticed an elephant on the road that refused to move. Without hesitation, he acted with his colleagues to help the elephant back into the forest. It was only afterward that the keeper was able to understand why the elephant had been on the road in the first place. Sarathkumar’s heroic act is a testament to his big heart and generous spirit.

Palanichamy, a guard at the canal, showed incredible strength and courage when he spotted a small elephant stuck in the water. Without hesitation, he lifted the struggling animal onto his shoulders and carried it to safety. Although Palanichamy knew the elephant was heavier than him, he didn’t let that stop him from rescuing the scared and exhausted creature. Through his heroic actions, the elephant reunited with its mother.
