Introducing Barry, a Gloster Canary with a Gorgeous Bowl Cut Sweet

No taller than 4 3/4 inches, Gloster Canaries were developed to be little, short, and stubby. They are available in a variety of colors, including as green, yellow, and cinnamon. The Gloster Canary sings like all other canaries, albeit it is louder and less melodious than some canary enthusiasts may desire.

This bird always sports a silly hairstyle. To view more, scroll down! Additional details

On his Instagram bio, where he currently has more than 2,000 followers, Barry states.

The wild does not truly contain any of these adorable birds.

You will be very let down if you attempt to find them in the Canary Islands, where they were named for. Their Beatles hairstyle isn’t from a barbershop in Liverpool, but this version has more English roots.

Gloster Canaries were developed by selective breeding by a Mrs. Rogerson in Gloucestershire, England, and are distinguished by their distinctive haircuts.

To create the fashionable bird with hair you see today, she crossed two other exotic birds in 1925: a Crested Roller and a Border Canary.
