You don’t require an elaborate and intricate beauty routine to maintain great skin, and Helen Mirren prefers simplicity when it comes to her skin care. She mentioned, “I remove my makeup with a cleanser, then rinse my face with water and wipe it clean with a washcloth. In my home bathroom, you’ll find a stack of washcloths (about 10), all neatly piled by the sink because I use one and then put it in the laundry.”

She follows a healthy diet, but it’s not overly strict.

Maintaining good health is really important for your overall well-being, and Helen Mirren totally agrees. But you know what? She’s also open to enjoying some occasional treats that aren’t the healthiest. “Take charge of your diet and discover what makes you feel good. I’m all for fish and chips, but what you eat affects how you feel about yourself, so that’s a good place to start,” she said.

Helen Mirren has a straightforward 12-minute workout routine with a military-style twist that’s both traditional and effective. In an interview with Hello magazine, Helen shared her regimen, saying, “I follow a fitness plan that leads me into exercise. It’s the Royal Canadian Air Force exercise plan, complete with charts. You need to complete the exercises within 12 minutes each day before progressing.” This fitness plan, created by the Canadian military in the 1950s, focuses on bodyweight exercises such as push-ups, jumping jacks, and sit-ups. The aim is to enhance strength and flexibility.

She has never had any plastic surgery.

Nowadays, more and more celebrities are rejecting unrealistic beauty standards, and Helen Mirren is fully embracing this shift. She’s all about being authentic when it comes to beauty. “I’m old! And I look my age. And that’s perfectly okay. Of course, I try to look my best. And yes, if I could, I’d love to look 20 years younger, but that’s not the case, and it never will be. I’m not trying to stay young, because nobody can,” she explained.

Helen Mirren demonstrates the importance of self-care, and she’s a living example that love knows no age limits. She got married and said “I do” at the age of 52.
