Early bird Jamie Lee Curtis says musicians should have concerts during the day

The Oscar candidate for “Everything Everywhere All At Once” recently went viral. She will miss the Oscars dinner later this week because “mother goes to bed early” and it starts at 7:30 p.m.

The 64-year-old performer revealed to co-anchors Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb on TODAY on March 7 that she goes to bed at about 7:00 p.m. and wakes up at 4:30 a.m.

“Good morning, sunshine,” Savannah said to the “Freaky Friday” actor, dressed in black pyjamas for the occasion.

When asked about the Oscars meal, Curtis underlined that 7:30 p.m. was much past her sleep.

Savannah enquired what time the meal would have had to be for you to accept genuinely.

The “Trading Places” star described a luncheon for Oscar candidates last month as “wonderful since it was midday.”

Curtis added that musicians must follow the Oscar Awards’ example and offer both daytime and evening performance alternatives.

She even had a suggestion from Curtis that she be TODAY’s “West Coast representative” as she works the same schedule as Savannah and Hoda.
