As the saying goes, a dog is man’s best friend, but this domestic pig may not agree with that.
Meet Chowder (translated from English – “stew”), a 6-year-old Vietnamese bellied pig who has a whole bunch of atypical friends.
The domesticated animal lives with five rescued dogs – Rika, Slick, Nya, James and Bashe – and with his owner Shelby Madere in Southern California, USA.
We know dogs are great pets, but Chowder proves to be just as cuddly and loving as his furry cousins.
Pigs are known for their sociability and intelligence, and this is especially true of Vietnamese bellied pigs, which are most fond of cuddling.
The Chowder does not differ in any way from other dogs in his behavior, often playing in the backyard with his dog company and even wears the same collar as theirs, only the right size for himself.
The friendly company has its own Instagram account , where more than 47 thousand people are already following their adventures with pleasure.
